Roundtable: Sustainable financing of media - How can philanthropy help?

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

As we transition to the digital future, how can business models for high-integrity independent journalism be developed? Follow the discussion at a special roundtable of European donors and beneficiaries on philanthropic funding of media and journalism. How does a sustainable future of news media look like? Can trust, credibility, and independence be (re-)earned by structural funding through foundations and what are the specific needs of investigative journalism, culture journalism and solutions-based journalism?

Organized in partnership with ERSTE Foundation.
